Middle Eastern Dance is the oldest known dance form. It is an ancient art that endures to this day. The captivating music, the sensuous movement, the glittering costumes will lure you into a world of foreign intrigue.

Each ethnic group has its customs and this includes some type of organized movement. In the Middle East, dance has played an important role in celebration and depiction of important events. From village to urban areas, the culture is celebrated in dance.

Here in the USA, the dance still celebrates the culture, but currently it has enjoyed a renaissance as the number one form of exercise. However, devotees are taking the art form into the theater to present it as the beautiful and creative art that it is.
